Basin Engineering announces sporting clay benefit

September 6th tournament to benefit American Heart Association

The 8th annual Shoot for the Heart sporting clay tournament sponsored by Basin Engineering will be held September 6th, 2019. Registration is open and a limited number of sponsorships are available.

“Basin Engineering has been a part of Shoot for the Heart for many years and we are proud to continue our lead sponsorship of the event. The oil and gas industry isn't immune to heart disease and strokes, so getting together with our colleagues to support an important cause is very worthwhile. ” commented Craig Northcutt, President of Basin Engineering.

“Working in the oilfield can be both challenging and rewarding. Hosting this tournament creates some friendly competition and helps participants to build lasting relationships. It's a win win, regardless of how you shoot." Said Larry Davis, Senior Drilling Engineer with Basin Engineering.

Over $60,000 raised in 2018 for American Heart Association

As lead sponsor last year, Basin Engineering raised a total of $60,782 for the American Heart Association. "We are grateful to all the sponsors and participants who helped us achieve a new record last year, and we have our sights set on a higher target for 2019" said Kayla Lockhart, event coordinator.

Basin Engineering raised over $60,000 for the American Heart Association from the 2018 Shoot for the Heart sporting clay tournament.

Shoot for the Heart is a popular event for those in the oil and gas industry, providing an opportunity to network, test their shooting skills and make a difference for the American Heart Association. Each year the event has grown in participation, sponsorships and contributions and then 2019 tournament is expected to be even greater in all aspects.
