Basin Engineering announces results of Shoot for the Heart benefit

Annual Clay Sporting Event Attracted 250 Participants

Basin Engineering, an Oklahoma City based company serving the petroleum industry hosted the 8th annual Shoot for the Heart sporting clay competition on September 6.  Proceeds from the event benefitted the American Heart Association.   The event was held at the Quail Ridge Sporting Clays center and attracted 250 participants, primarily from the oil industry. 

Today, Basin Engineering President Craig Northcutt announced the total funds raised by the event.  "Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors and event participants, we are thrilled to announce $58,491 will be donated to the American Heart Association.  

During the event, Larry Davis, Senior Drilling Engineer with Basin Engineering took a moment to personalize how the AHA impacts lives.  Davis' 7 year old granddaughter standing by his side was born with a congenital heart defect and required multiple heart surgeries.  Davis told the audience "The fact that my granddaughter is standing next to me is a testament to the amazing work being done by the Heart Association thanks in part to the support they receive from the community."  
Basin Engineering has also announced the date for the 9th Annual Shoot for the Heart Sporting Clay event which will be held on September 11, 2020.
