DRILLING ENGINEERING

Oilfield Drilling Engineering Services

Drilling Engineering Services

From traditional to unconventional drilling, operators and investors rely on Basin Engineering to make their lives easier and their projects more successful.

Some of our clients see us as experienced guides to help them navigate new or unfamiliar basins.  Others turn to us for onsite execution, preferring to leverage high quality, turnkey talent for a limited venture instead of expanding permanent internal staff.

Results Drive Client Retention
Ultimately, the results are what keep our clients coming back to Basin Engineering time and again.   Managing drilling economics is more important than ever.  The knowledge and experience our team have acquired translate into gains in efficiency and effectiveness at the wellsite.  Lower NPT, faster TD, reduced expendables.

Our team of drilling engineers, consultants and supervisors are able to assist with all aspects of the drilling process for vertical, directional and horizontal wells including location evaluation and planning, facility design and construction, equipment selection and procurement, drilling optimization, regulatory filings, HSE management, wellsite supervision and more.

The Basin Advantage
While every Basin engineer, consultant and supervisor brings vast experience to your project, each serves as a gateway to the collective knowledge base of the entire Basin Engineering organization.

Talk with Larry About Your Project

Larry Davis, Senior Drilling Advisor

There are two personal tools that Larry brings to every project:  planning and resourcefulness.

Working in remote regions like Papua New Guinea and Nigeria helped Larry hone both of these skills, knowing that help was usually days, not hours,  away.

The planning process allowed Larry to anticipate situations and pre-position equipment and resources to manage through them.

When unexpected situations developed, his resourcefulness helped him take the resources he had on hand and combine them in new ways to work the problem.

As a result, during his 40 year oilfield career Larry developed a reputation as the guy you call when you want to get unstuck.

Today, that reputation has been expanded to cover all aspects of the drilling process.  From gas kicks to stuck pipe and much more, Larry and his team are ready to answer the call.
